Watkins Ultra-Rich Hand Cream

The driest, roughest hands need the most intensive moisturizing available. When hands - or heels, elbows and knees - are severely chapped or plagued by painful cracks and splits, Watkins has the remedy. Our Ultra-Rich Hand cream helps seal in the skin's own natural moisture, providing instant moisturization and leaving a protective barrier against the harshest conditions.

Watkins Product - Ultra-Rich Hand CreamSometimes it's the good old-fashioned, time-tested ingredients that still work best!  Watkins Ultra-Rich Hand Cream is one of these products - filled with all of the ingredients that have worked wonderfully for thousands of people over countless generations.

Watkins Ultra-Rich Hand Cream offers:
  • Intensive moisturization: For severely dry, chapped, rough, cracked skin, this rich cream goes beyond even our finest lotions in providing unsurpassed relief.
  • Heritage of quality: With more than 135 years of experience in formulating healing salves, pain relieving balms and skin care products, Watkins is a name you can trust with your skin.
  • Superior ingredients: Whether it’s a botanical extract or a beneficial chemical, Watkins sources only the finest ingredients.
Using these Essential Ingredients:
  • Lanolin Oil: An emollient with moisturizing properties and high water-absorption capabilities.  Lanolin, a natural liquid wax from sheep’s wool, has been found to form a network on the skin’s surface rather than a film as is the case with petrolatum. The biochemical origin of lanolin and human skin oil is the same, making lanolin very skin-compatible. By providing a moisture barrier that allows the skin to rehydrate from within, lanolin slows down the evaporation of the skin’s natural moisture. Recovery and  preparation of lanolin involves no cruelty to the sheep.
  • Stearic Acid: A white, waxy, natural emollient found in animal and vegetable fats. Used as an emulsifying agent in creams, lotions, deodorants and most natural body care, stearic acid is best known for the “pearly” and “waxy” feel that it adds to your body care products, which ultimately has a cooling effect when applied on the skin.
  • Mineral Oil: An emollient cleanser and demulsifier of dirt trapped in pores. Excellent for cleansers.  When used in leave-on preparations, its ability to take up and hold moisture is considered to help improve the skin’s barrier function and is not known to cause allergic reactions.
Discover - or re-discover - the natural way to dry skin relief today - your skin will thank you with a soft, healthy glowing smile!  Smile
