Kid Fun!

Everyone loves to eat, but not everyone knows how to cook.  We believe that if you know the basics of cooking and if you know your way around the kitchen, you'll not only become a great cook, but you'll love it, too!  We hope this section is one that you and the young "chefs" in your life find fun and easy to use every month!

Pudding Pops
When you let your imagination go a little crazy, you can have a new taste sensation every time!
From the freezer to your tummy ... mmm, mmm good every time!

Watkins Recipe - Pudding PopsIngredients you will need to make 6 or 7 pops (depending on the molds used):
  • Your favourite flavour of Watkins Dessert Mix - Chocolate, Vanilla, Butterscotch, Lemon or Banana work best
  • sugar (according to Dessert Mix label)
  • water (according to Dessert Mix label)
  • milk (according to Dessert Mix label)
  • Watkins Extracts for extra flavour (if desired)
Instructions:
  1. Prepare pudding recipe as directed on label for Banana, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Lemon or Vanilla Dessert Mix.
  2. Add Watkins Extracts if desired.
  3. Remove from heat, then pour into small metal molds or paper muffin liners (placed in a muffin pan).
  4. Place in freezer for 2 minutes. Insert flat wooden pop sticks.
  5. Freeze 2-3 hours.
  6. Unmold by dipping molds in a pan of hot water for 1-2 minutes or until it unmolds easily. Serve immediately
