Jerk Seasoning Mix Dry Jerk Seasoning Mix - Yield: 5 Tablespoons
- 1 tbsp/15 ml Watkins Onion Flakes
- 2 tsp/10 ml Watkins Thyme
- 1 tsp/5 ml Watkins Allspice
- 1/4 tsp/1.2 ml Watkins Cinnamon
- 1 tsp/5 ml Watkins Granulated Black Pepper
- 1 tsp/5 ml Watkins Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tbsp/15 ml Watkins Onion Granules
- 2 tsp/10 ml salt
- 1/4 tsp/1.2 ml Watkins Nutmeg
- 2 tsp/10 ml sugar
- 2 tsp/10 ml Chives, Freeze-Dried
Mix together all the ingredients.
Store leftovers in a tightly closed glass jar. It will keep its
pungency for over a month.
Notes: This
seasoning mix is excellent to have on hand to sprinkle on
cooked or uncooked fish, vegetables, or snacks. To increase
the heat, add more cayenne pepper.
