Quick n’ Easy Chicken Most of us are always looking for “easy” recipes to make. This one is easy and low in fat and calories… perfect for the “weight conscious”! For 4 chicken breasts (2 cut in half), mix 4 TBSP of Watkins Onion Soup & Gravy with 2 tablespoons Watkins Mushroom Soup & Gravy and add enough orange juice to make a thin paste. Baste over chicken. Bake covered for 45 to 60 minutes at 375°. Serve with white or brown rice.To flavor the rice, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Watkins Chicken, Onion and/or Mushroom Soup and Gravy Bases to the water before cooking.

Tropical Chicken Salad
For a NEW way to make chicken tasty, baste chicken pieces with Tropical Salsa and bake at 350ºF for 45-55 minutes. This is delicious and the chicken is very moist. Serve over rice or with Garlic Mashed Potatoes (easy with Watkins Liquid Garlic Spice). |
Did
you know ....... that in 1868, J.R. Watkins introduced
the very first documented money-back guarantee in North American history?
He had his special "Trial Mark" bottles molded so that customers could try
a good amount of his famous Red Liniment. If they were not happy
with it, they would stop at the Trial Mark. The next time J.R. made
his rounds, he would buy the bottle back at full price. Today,
ALL of Watkins products come with a full 100% Satisfaction
Guarantee ... although we don't enforce the Trial Mark rule any more!
... what makes Watkins Gourmet Spices and Seasonings so good? It's what is NOT in them - Watkins does not add any "fillers" in any of our pure spices and seasoning blends! Fillers can be extra bits of husks, leaves or stems, and any manufacturer can add them - as long as they come from the same plant, tree or bush as the spice itself. By not adding the traditional fillers that many supermarket and bulk brands add, Watkins spices could actually be considered "concentrated" by comparison! ... that Watkins Vanilla Personal Care Products are scented with real
Watkins Vanilla Extract? ... so that's why people just want to "eat
you up" when you wear them!
... that "Mary had a little lamb, it's fleece was white as snow; And everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go" is regarded as the best-known four lines of verse in the English language? And the words "Mary had a little lamb," spoken by Thomas Edison on November 20, 1877, into his latest invention, the phonograph, were the first words of recorded human speech? Imagine that! |

Iron Out Your DifferencesSpring is just around the corner and
that means it's time to get out the spring clothes and iron away the
wrinkles in your cottons and linens. Most people keep a spray bottle of
water next to the ironing board to help release wrinkles from clothes, but
tap water can often leave noticeable mineral deposits, particularly on
bright colored spring fabrics, and water may leave a stale aroma when left
in the bottle.

Quick and Healthy Tips!
Food value of dried fruit:
While all dried fruit is good for you, dried plums are antioxidant superstars, being among the highest fruits in total antioxidant activity. Antioxidants work to prevent cancer, heart disease, cataracts, and other diseases associated with aging by mopping up the free radicals that damage cells. |
